There are many differences between lobe pumps and gear pumps:
1. Volume: Due to its compact design, the lobe lobe pump requires a small footprint. No additional space is required to service the pump. Standard flange, diameter can be adjusted according to customer requirements. Gear pump, the overall structure is compact and small.
2. Conveying direction: The conveying direction of the cam rotor pump is reversible, and the pump is a completely symmetrical structure. The conveying direction of the gear pump cannot be reversed. The unloading groove is set according to the oil inlet and outlet, and the position is asymmetrical.
3. Dry running: The cam rotor pump has low sensitivity to dry running, and the temperature of the pump body will not rise very high for a long time of idling, and the mechanical seal runs in the immersion of lubricating oil. A gear pump basically runs dry a little and will burn the equipment.
4. Maintenance: the maintenance of the cam rotor pump is very easy, no need to disassemble the pipeline, few special tools, small space, small manpower, and no need for professionals. The gear pump is not easy to disassemble the pipeline and motor.
