Precautions for gear oil pump test run
Before the test run of the gear pump, check whether the quality meets the standard requirements, such as the flow rate, pressure, and cavitation allowance of the gear oil pump.
The gear oil pump shaft seal leakage meets the requirements: Generally, the packing seal is allowed to drip according to the national standard, and if it is serious, it must be repaired.
Whether the gear pumps is cranking easily, it should not be too loose when cranking, because too loose will result in too large fitting clearance, which will cause the self-priming ability of the gear oil pump to decrease over time. Generally, the new pump should be tight when cranking, so the self-priming effect is better, because after all, the human strength is not as good as the motor, and the gear oil pump will enter the normal state well after a long time.
