The specific steps to start the gear pump are as follows:
1. Rotate the gear pump coupling by hand, it should feel brisk and the force is even.
2. Check whether the rotation direction of the pump is correct. It should be in accordance with the direction indicated on the pump body. If there is no special requirement, the general gear pump stands at the motor side, and it is left in and right out.
3. Check whether the hydraulic system has an unloading circuit to prevent it from starting or stopping at full load.
4. Check whether the valve in the system is within the adjusted allowable pressure range.
5. Fill the oil outlet with medium to avoid damage to internal components due to dry grinding when the pump is started.
6. No-load operation for no less than 2 seconds, check whether the pump's running sound is normal and the direction of the liquid flow is correct.
7. Adjust the pressure of the overflow valve to below 1.0MPA and rotate it for about 10 seconds to check whether the operation of the system, external leakage, noise, temperature rise, etc. are normal.
8. Adjust the pressure of the overflow valve to the protection pressure operating range of the hydraulic system.
9. Jog the motor to see if the rotation and sound of the pump are normal.
