Stainless steel gear pump is now in Marine power systems, sweeping systems, fire protection systems, ballast systems, cooling systems, life service security and other specialized systems are widely used, and marine pumps play a very important role in other auxiliary systems. In recent years, the international shipbuilding industry has shown the trend of large-scale, automated and diversified ships. Our country is also keeping up with the international mainstream trend. Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve and develop a new generation of marine pumps to replace traditional products. On October 10, 2015, at the "Academic Report on New Technology Research of Marine Auxiliary Machinery" held by the Academic Committee of Ship Auxiliary Machinery of Shanghai Shipbuilding Engineering Society, experts put forward suggestions for marine pump manufacturers to grasp the international marine pump technology. At the same time, we will increase the scientific research of new products, improve the design and manufacturing level of stainless steel gear pumps, and enhance the technological innovation capability of gear pumps.
Our domestically produced ships are undergoing large-scale development, and the main power drive of the ship is constantly upgrading. This requires us to continuously promote the large increase in the displacement, head and power parameters of marine pumps in the ship's power system, even in traditional marine pumps. On the basis of the qualitative leap, at the same time, in the cabin, weight, installation and other aspects of the marine pump has produced various restrictions and constraints, in line with the above points, the design of marine pumps is expected to accelerate The pace of product innovation will develop in the direction of ultra-high speed, high temperature, high pressure and high power density as soon as possible.
Although the design level of domestic stainless steel gear pumps in China has been greatly improved in recent years, most stainless steel gear pump manufacturers still use the traditional design method, that is, semi-theoretical and semi-empirical design methods, but it is difficult now. It fully meets the design requirements of the user's performance parameters, weight profile, environmental conditions, reliability and so on. To this end, experts suggest that in the development of information technology for the complex marine pump design provides excellent integration, we should fully take advantage of the platform, combined with CAD-CAF-CAM technology, and gradually improve the stainless steel gear pump Multi-objective design method, improve the design level of gear pump, and urge all marine pump R&D manufacturers to master the multi-objective design technology of stainless steel gear pump based on digital design as soon as possible.
